I think that The United States should tighten up on their borders, but as for making any more laws there really isn't a need for all that, since there are plenty already.

Since learning about the reason for the limits on naturalization in the U.S., I think that we need to tighten up on the borders but its taking it kinda far with the whole identification cards. That sounds like when Hitler made all Jews where the Star of David during the early stages of the Holocaust.

I agree with Jessica we do need to tighten up our boarders but we do not need to start having checked. It violates there rights, and things would only be made worse by the fear that would follow.

I understand what Jessica is saying but there are so many unidentified people, you should keep a database on them all, same idea with a passport to travel.

While this law could very well help reduce the amount of illegal immigrants entering Arizona, I also feel like it has too many loop holes and controversial demands. Police officers with racial beliefs could easily take in nearly any Hispanic he or she sees if they don't have proof of their citizenship with them. I also feel like the emphases has been placed too much on the Hispanic percentage of the population because technically (from what I know) this law applies to every citizen. It also poses the problem that if a police officer doesn't check everyone equally, someone can sue the police department making even more issues.

I agree with Jessica where she said that this sounds almost like the Nazis and the Jews with having to have proof of who they are to move around. It just seems like an infringement on American rights and basic beliefs. I mean I can understand having to have some identification of who you are (like a drivers license), but having to carry all your immigration forms everywhere just seems like a little bit too much.

I do think that this law will help reduce the large amount of illegals coming to America, after all this is a big issue and is one of the reason people in America are having a hard time finding jobs. Although some of this sounds a little extreme. What if a policeman mistakes a U.S citizen who is half american and half hispanic, will this not cause some issues. But really what illigal imigration is doing is putting hardship on working american citizens who pay taxes and are here legally, if illigal immigration is not inforced wont there be a day when there are more illigal people here than U.S citizens.

I agree with Jessica mostly becuase it will reduce the amount of illegals coming into America, and that some of it sounds like Hitler and the racism issue. However, this is not just about a class of people, it is about any person that enters the U.S illegaly from any country.

I believe that this law will deffinately reduce the amount of illegal immigrants coming into the US. It will be a positive effect for the US because it will reduce the amount of US citizens who have to pay for taxes & the amount of illegal immigrants abusing the system. The only negative effect is that some people may see this law as being racist and some people could be mistakenly sent back to mexico.

I think this law will bring negative effects , because certain policeman today do not go on what the law says. If they dont like illegal immigrants in a racial way they could basically send an illegal immigrant back where they came from for all the wrong reasons.

I agree with Amber because people could take this law the wrong way. If illegal immigrants feel that its a racial issue they could start doing crimes or harmful things to get back at policeman or U.S. citizens

This law does have its good and its bad but in my opinion its mostly bad. Yes, i thinkl people should carry documents saying they belong in this country but at the same time its not fair to the people who do belong in America have to be stop. This law is racial profiling because it gives the police the right to stop any person that looks hispanic.

i think this law would give policemen the permission to racial profile which is pretty much the same as people thinking every middle eastern person in an airport is a terrorist of some sort. technically illegal immigrants have no rights in america because they are not a citizen. and this law would help with reducing the amount of tax dollars, that american citizens pay, being spent on people exploiting those tax dollars. but i dont think people should be racially profiled for that.

i agree with Salvador this law seems mostly bad, people should carry documents to prove they are suppose to be here but shouldn't give the permission to profile people just because of what they look like..

I think matter no matter what illegal immigration law is passed in the US, illegal immigrants will still cross the border so there's no real way to fully stop illegal immigrants from crossing.

I also agree with Jessica because there's no way to fully stop illegal immigrants from crossing, so like Jessica said, they should tighten up the border. Either that or they go to every house and identify the immigrants are illegal or not, then round up the immigrants and deport them to where ever Arizona thinks they should belong.
